Reunion update!

Hi Everyone!
Only 16 days till Christmas and 42 days till Family Reunion! Lot's of fun and memory making shortly ahead for all of us!

Our current "official count" for the reunion is 43! There's always room for more, remember that Franson saying, "We packum in"!

We have several extended family members joining us for all or part of our stay.
Uncle Rich will be coming. This will be his first trip to Disney in many years as well as his first trip seeing Disney through the eyes of his grandchildren. It will be wonderful for him!
Chris Hamilton's best friend Kelly and her children Conor and Shelby will be joining as well. This will be great fun for Chris and and the kids!
Jeff will be bringing Teri with. It will be a new experience for Teri...........seeing Disney the Franson Way!!! Jon will also be joining us for a long weekend.
Caitlin will be bringing her sweetheart Lee. This will be Lee's first trip to Disney, wow that boy is gonna get dragged from one end of the world to the other, HA!
Our 4th daughter, Becky Petro will be joining us on Wednesday to hang out with Courtney.
Our "oldest son" Mark and his new bride Heather will be joining us for a long weekend. We're absolutely thrilled that they will be joining us. We've spent many hours in Disney with Mark but this will be Heather's first foray into the Franson Disney experience :)

So, the aunties and I were making a list and checking it twice during our "Not So Crafty, Craft Club" Christmas gathering, HA!
We discovered and planned the following!!!

Sunday, January 20th was our planned day for our pizza party for all. However we've found out that the Magic Kingdom will be open until 11pm that night. So, not wanting to cut into the ability to spend a LONG DAY at the parks we made the executive decision to move pizza to Monday night. This means that Monday becomes the big group activity day!

Monday at about 10am the guys will tee off at Kissimee. If you haven't already contacted Les to be added to tee time shoot him an email.
Caitlin and Lee will be watching the young boys during High Tea, young guys should be at the Franson Grand Villa at about 1pm.
High Tea will be at 2pm at the Grand Floridian.
Pizza will be between 5 and 6pm at either the Damez or Stockman Grand Villa. We'll determine the exact location after check in on the 19th.
After pizza, all interested will head off with Uncle Lou to mini golf.

Tuesday evening at 5pm are our reservations for Chef Mickey's. Be sure to get there at least 15-30 minutes ahead of time so we an be seated on time.

Fees and such:
Golf - I believe Les sent out the fees for golf and club rental
High Tea will be $25.00 per person (plus tax and tip)
Pizza - we're guesstimating $5.00 per person. It will depend upon how many pizzas we order.
Chef Mickeys - $29.99 for adults, $14.99 for kids, plus tax and tip.

I think that covers it all, for now anyway.
If there's anything anyone would like me to add let me know.

Wishing all of you a Blessed Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year!
Love,
Maureen, Les, Courtney, Caitlin, and Cara

Chef Mickey's

Hi Everyone!
Talked to Disney and they've changed the rules a bit for reservations at Chef Mickeys' for large groups. All I have to do is let them know how many folks (adults and kids) to make the reservation. So, no money needed till the day we eat! Cool!

If you haven't already replied yeah or nay, please let me know by July 15th so that I can make our reservations as soon as the booking process allows.

Uncle Lou would like to set up a round of pee wee golf for the younger set. I'll send out details once he has them ironed out.

Love to all,
Moe, Les, Court, Cait, and Cara

P.S. Happy Father's Day to all you great Dads! Enjoy your day!

Reunion plans are taking shape!

Hi Franson Family and Disney Fans!
There's been a bit of plotting and planning going on for the reunion-:)

Here's what we've come up with, be sure and venture in with other thoughts and ideas!!

Everyone is coming and going on different days, staying for different lengths of time so we've tried to focus on Sunday through Tuesday as it seems those are the days that most everyone will be in.

Sunday - Pizza night at the Grand Villa - we'll pick whichever Grand Villa is closest to the main check in. Most likely Aunt Rose as she's been promised the handicap unit. If you remember it's the one Aunt Mar had last time. Pizza night will be handled by Aunt Rose and Aunt Mar. Everyone that wants to join in will pitch in a few dollars for pizza and pop. The aunties will let us know!

Monday - Golf for the boys - If you want to golf contact Les. He's in charge of setting it up. High Tea for the ladies at the Grand Floridian, this includes the younger ladies as well. Audrey will be setting this up, so contact Audrey if you're in! High Tea is much too froo froo for Caitlin so she has offered to babysit our younger boys (Griffen, Owen, Matthew, and Jake) while dads golf and moms' have tea. She's also offered to watch Uncle Wayne at the same time since he doesn't golf! Ha!

Tuesday - We're planning on dinner at Chef Mickeys'. Dinner will be at 5pm, this is the only time Chef Mickeys' will accommodate large groups.Chef Mickey's is located in the Contemporary Resort. So it's an easy stop on your way out of the Magic Kingdom is you're planning a park day. It's an all you can eat buffet with prime rib, shrimp, turkey, all kinds of good food. The adults can enjoy the food while the kids enjoy Mickey and friends wandering around visiting everyone. There's also a special kids buffet - hot dogs, cheese pizza, macaroni & cheese, and a they can decorate a cupcake with Goofy. It's a bit pricey: 10 and older $27.99, 3 to 9 $12.99 plus tax and tip. Standard beverags are included, alcohol extra. We'll need to make reservations by the beginning of July and we'll need to pre-pay. If you'd like to go to Chef Mickeys', let me know I'm in charge of this one.

Last but not least, a souvenir for all of us to consider! Les discovered that you can make a Disney photo book on-line through disneyphotopass.com This allows you to upload pictures of your own, as well as any pictures you had taken in the parks by Photo pass folks and create a book with Disney backgrounds. Check out the website and this is something we can consider putting together after the trip. It would make a wonderful keepsake!

Love to all!
